Back from the Telco Fraud conference! It was such a tiring trip. I did not bring my camera this time as I find it very heavy.....hehe.....I'm just plain lazy. One of my best buy from KL is the cherry blush tint from Shu uemura. I seldom use any blush as my cheeks are almost always flushed. And when the saleslady introduced this to me, I was somewhat doubtful of this. Coz she swabbed too must onto my hand making it quite.....errr, flushed. But when I used it the next morning, I applied it sparingly. The results are wonderful. It gave me the healthy natural pinkish glow that a lot of people wanted to achieve (but failed miserably coz its either too light or too dark) Its not oily at all as well. I applied it after my sunblock and then apply a light layer of loose powder (also from Shu eumura). The result? A natural glow! Even my guy friend commented on my healthy glow! Ever since I was a little girl, which frankly is n-number of years ago, I had always wanted a window seat. Imagine a place to call my own. A place where you can read with just the right amount of natural light. A place where no one can intrude. A little slice of my own paradise, to do whatever I wanna do. There are many designs to choose from. I like this purplish design. I think this colour scheme will go nicely along with the gray and beige of the current theme. But I don't think that the drawers are practical as you cant store many things in the small compartments. This is so sweet and simple. White and red plus some floral. The lace also goes nicely along with the bay window. My curtains are somewhat very simple. Just cream and gray roman blinds. I cant remember how the lace looks like though (the curtains were ready over a year ago!) The organza at the window gives it a very soft and dreamy kinda feeling. Finally after 2 years, I have decided to uplift my AUD FD from SCB and also cancel my plat CC from SCB. Am moving on to a better deal. Feel a bit sad coz I have been a loyal customer of SCB ever since I started work and that was way back in 2005. Hahaha, I know someone is gonna laugh at me and say the bank is earning my money, why should I be sad right? I'm going after the plat CC from Baiduri. Deposit a minimum of B$5k, you can get a plat CC as well as 5 years fee waiver. The FD can only be uplifted after 5 years with a total of 12% interest (2.4% p.a) I think this is not bad a deal although the interest rate is not as high as the AUD FD but think of the CC charges that you are saving for the whole 5 years are quite high already. I asked the Baiduri staff on the annual fees for a plat CC, its $280 p.a. Multiply by 5 years, you are saving at least $1400 already. Let's hope that this is the right choice.

I know almost all girls love makeup. Including me. Its not so much the makeup that they love but more like how they feel about themselves after seeing themselves with makeup. With the right makeup, one can look and feel like a million dollars. At least that is how I feel. This is me without makeup. Just my sunblock and a light layer of loose powder as I dun like the stickiness of the sunblock. Then this is the latest made up look for Joe & Judith's wedding. I look very different eh? I went out on an outing with a few of not my friends. Why I call them not my friends? Coz they are not my friends lo. They are friends with someone I am friends with. It was such a nice Sunday. We were supposed to have lunch n watch a movie together. There are 4 girls and 4 guys including me and Bi. Basically, with the exception of another girl who made polite conversations with me, the other 2 totally ignored me. (I mean TOTALLY , caps, larger font and bold for emphasis) So yeah, was feeling quite left out at that stage. But they were really mean. They left to go shopping without asking me whether I wanna go or not. BF had the cheek to ask me how come I din follow them shopping since I love shopping. (Hey come on, I am not a puppy who has to follow them at their heels) TSK TSK....no courtesy. Soooo....anyway, the movie supposedly starts at 3:00pm and we are to collect the tickets half an hour before the movie starts. Surprisingly, those girls did not want to go collect the tickets alt...

Have you had any encounters of the 3rd kind before It was only me and another colleague (lets call her F) left in the office on Monday. It was very quiet and suddenly I heard foot steps. Was quite surprised at that moment in time. (din think too much at that time) just assumed that there was another colleague besides the 2 of us. But when I went over to F and told her about the foot steps, she shushed me. Ooooo then I know something is not right as I also double checked and true enough its only the 2 of us. We quickly packed and left! When we were downstairs, F told me that when I told her about the foot steps and I went back to my cubicle to pack, she sat down and tried to listen as well (coz she din hear it the first time) and she heard it this time. She thought that it was me walking around and stood up to check. But I was standing still at my cubicle packing!!!!! Ohhhhhh, by this time all my hair follicles were standing!!!! Goosebumps! It's really stressful you know. Having to choose the colors of everything and make sure that it matches. And its only 1 room that I am taking care of. Haha. Yeah, only 1 room. Weird how sometimes good news can turn around and become disappointing news? Not bad news coz it doesn't really bring me bad things. It's just that I felt really disappointed. I left office with a heavy heart today. Perhaps from the news that I received around 5pm just now. I am truly worried. Sigh!!!!! However on my way home, I saw a beautiful sky. I just can't resist taking pictures of it. It make me feel slightly better. Immediately I felt better. No matter what happens, I have to keep moving forward. To look forward to another day. Perhaps I am also feeling a bit worn down as I just recovered from a week's long fever just 2 weeks ago. Ever since then, I tire easily. Oh well, a little positivity will do wonders. The truth is that relationships end. That is why whenever someone change their relationship status in facebook, I always, always cringe for them. I dunno for some. But for me the status of my relationship is very private. If for any reasons, my relationship status change, I don't think that I'll make an update in facebook (especially facebook) It just feels all wrong. I see some of my "friends' updating their relationship status and flaunts their new found relationships only to change their status to single again after a few short weeks. And not to mention that they will be posting anything that is so emo as their status. To me, its like breaking up in public. It truly is (depending on how many friends you added on fb). Then, in order to wipe your memory clean of this so called jerk, you have to delete him from your photo albums published. Its a lot of work. Bi was commenting that I am always cutting my hair! I haven cut a single strand of my hair since late January this year when I went to Kelvin Saloon in Miri to colour my hair le! And here is the PROVE! This was taken back in February this year during my KK family trip......oooooo I miss that colour! Kelvin you are the best! And this was taken just now at dinner at Sweet and Savory. I know its the same shirt! See the difference? A year with no haircut is doing me wonders! I will not cut my hair until next year! And I will only trim it a little only. This is the first time in many years that I had my fringe this long. I think its not bad looking at all......hehe

It's over! Be it good or bad, it's over. With all the things being said during the interview, I know where I stand and what is expected of me. Although some things that were said were kind of hurtful, at least now I know what was thought of me. When the whole world seems to be unhappy with me, I tell myself that I am happy with myself (well more or less la). My self worth is not determined by others. Its determined by myself. If I see myself worth less than what it is, then why should anyone else assume more? I could use a little more self esteem right now. More encouragement and less criticism. But hey, life is not perfect. I know that. But one can hope right? I haven been able to sleep easily for the past few months. I would wake up in a space of few hours. I always wake up feeling more tired than ever. I have insomnia. Its so terrible. Even if I manage to sleep, I am always dreaming. I went to the doctor the other day to get something for my migraine and the DR said that my blood pressure is a bit on the border line. That was a surprise....not really coz I know that a good night sleep is very important and without a good nite sleep in months, I guess my health is the first to deteriorate. So yeah, gonna sleep early tonite ...

Been so busy lately! Yaya, I know, I'm always busy. But being busy is good becoz time passes by faster when you are busy. Went to Seria on Fri. It's good to have home cooked meal, simple and yet so delicious. I miss my mami's cooking already. Played lami (and won abit) at Sil's house. I met Bibi! He is so adorable. I think I'm a bit in love with him already. Hehe. Such long brown wavy hair. Big and soulful eyes. He just makes me melt, inside and out!!!!! Let me introduce you to Bibi. Simply irresistible ey? I just made an investment! Went ahead and bought new Yonex shoes. Actually I saw a pair of light purple yonex shoes on Sat somewhere in first emporium. Unfortunately, that pair is not all that comfortable. It kinda hurt my feet actually. So in the end, the colour alone does not justify the money that I'm gonna spend. It's bnd130 le! I also saw a new pink chrome racket on Sat. I think I saw it in an Indian shop somewhere in seri. Cost bnd100 together with free string(ashaway), grip and bag. I nearly, very nearly, bought that racket. But the boss talks a bit lansi (actually it's not a bit) so I dun wanna buy from him no matter how much I like that racket. So on Sun after dinner with my mom, Bi and me went browsing again in Kiulap. That's when I saw that gorgeous pair of yonex shoes! It's PINK! Need I say more? Did the St Ella face mask last night. I did the whitening face mask. Like before, my chin and the area between my nose n chin is the area which dries up first. This mask is really different from others that I did, coz this mask u can put on for arnd 2 hours n you still feel that the mask is still working n it really stick to ur face. In addition, ur skin feels so cooling! Nah, let u see how is the mask like. So last night, I was doing the mask while playing xbox and at the same time streaming the Mexico match. (thanks to bi's friend who intro that site to us) Going to bring my car to servicing later. It's already 8000km liaw. Although i'm using fully synthetic motor oil, I feel that it's best to use to a maximum of 8000km or 9000km and not 10,000km. To protect the engine more. My breakfast for today!

Today is the nation's Energy Day, which aims to increase public's awareness of the importance of conserving energy. In conjunction with that, my company decided to 1. Switch off all unnecessary lights and instead open all the blinds (natural sunlight) 2. Switching off the water heater 3. Switching of one unit of the centralized air-conditioning chiller. People living in Brunei are really lucky as the electricity are partly subsidized by the government. The same goes for the prices of petrol. I remember that Bi told me before when he was working in Miri, the price for a full tank is around RM 80++ for a Vios, which is known to be a fuel consumption car.......Gosh ! Can you imagine that? So we are really lucky here. That is why we must try to conserve all the electricity and petrol that we can. Switch off anything that is not in use. A little here and there goes a long way. And try to use pool car if possible to use less petrol. It is easier on the environment as well as your poc...

It is so hard and boring not doing anything. I had like nothing to do for like 3/4 of yesterday.It wasn't my fault le. They are rearranging the partitions (again!). So once again, we had to pack all our things to one side and wait for the people to finish rearranging the partitions. I moved everything by myself as I am the only one in my department. My colleagues did offer to help me but I paiseh to accept their help also coz they also have their own things to move. So I moved everything albeit taking my own sweet time. Hehehehe. By the time I had finish moving everything to one side, I was pretty amazed. Not amazed by the fact that I moved everything myself but rather . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
