My face only


I know almost all girls love makeup. Including me. Its not so much the makeup that they love but more like how they feel about themselves after seeing themselves with makeup. With the right makeup, one can look and feel like a million dollars. At least that is how I feel.

This is me without makeup. Just my sunblock and a light layer of loose powder as I dun like the stickiness of the sunblock.


Then this is the latest made up look for Joe & Judith's wedding. I look very different eh? Eyes are bigger and my nose bridge are more defined. Eye brows are the same though.

This is me at another friend's wedding sometime in October.

Do you like the above makeup? It's done by Maureen Phua from De'most Saloon in Kiulap. Its just above KFC. You can make an appointment by calling 2230778. I have been going to her since my first annual dinner in DST.....which was about 4 years ago. Gosh time flies!

There have been so many instances where I came by my blog and I want to blog about so many things in my life. But there were also as many instances where I just gave up and kept my thoughts to myself. I am 34 years old in 2017 and soon I will be another year older. Unveiling

I was so excited yesterday. Someone called and told me that it was ready for pick up. What is ready for pick up? What makes me so excited? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What else would make me so excited other than cars? Woo Hoo!!!!! Subaru Impreze STi !!!! How cool is that? Bi fetched me yesterday around 5pm to pick up the car. I could not sit still at home. Was feeling so excited. STi has 3 settings, Intelligence, Sport and Sport Sharp. I read an article online saying that the Intelligence mode makes the STi crawls like a snail. Hmmmm, their exact words not mine. So Bi and me took the car out for a short drive. We were kinda disappointed with the power. It was then we realised that the setting was at intelligence. OMG!!!! When we changed the settings to Sport Sharp, the power is unbelievable. Its like 3 times faster and more powerful. We hit 180 km/h in less than 2 minutes (mite be less if not for those few turtles on the road). In the past S15 will need quite some time to hit 16...

After I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes  a few years ago, I was waiting for the sequel. What would happen to Lou after Will left? What would her life be? If I am Lou, I will constantly ask myself 'Why am I not enough?' 'Is there anything that I could have done to change his mind?' 'Was it all just me? Just in my mind?' In this sequel, Lou was a wreck! But it's understandable though, she had just lost the love of her life. She has lost someone who had shown her the different aspects of life. Showed her that the life she have had is so unbelievably small. There is so much more to live for. Showed her how she could have made a difference!
