Encounters of the 3rd kind

Have you had any encounters of the 3rd kind before

It was only me and another colleague (lets call her F) left in the office on Monday.

It was very quiet and suddenly I heard foot steps. Was quite surprised at that moment in time. (din think too much at that time) just assumed that there was another colleague besides the 2 of us.

But when I went over to F and told her about the foot steps, she shushed me. Ooooo then I know something is not right as I also double checked and true enough its only the 2 of us.

We quickly packed and left!

When we were downstairs, F told me that when I told her about the foot steps and I went back to my cubicle to pack, she sat down and tried to listen as well (coz she din hear it the first time) and she heard it this time. She thought that it was me walking around and stood up to check. But I was standing still at my cubicle packing!!!!!

Ohhhhhh, by this time all my hair follicles were standing!!!! Goosebumps!

So I guess this means no more working late! Am going back on time!

Unveiling

I was so excited yesterday. Someone called and told me that it was ready for pick up. What is ready for pick up? What makes me so excited? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What else would make me so excited other than cars? Woo Hoo!!!!! Subaru Impreze STi !!!! How cool is that? Bi fetched me yesterday around 5pm to pick up the car. I could not sit still at home. Was feeling so excited. STi has 3 settings, Intelligence, Sport and Sport Sharp. I read an article online saying that the Intelligence mode makes the STi crawls like a snail. Hmmmm, their exact words not mine. So Bi and me took the car out for a short drive. We were kinda disappointed with the power. It was then we realised that the setting was at intelligence. OMG!!!! When we changed the settings to Sport Sharp, the power is unbelievable. Its like 3 times faster and more powerful. We hit 180 km/h in less than 2 minutes (mite be less if not for those few turtles on the road). In the past S15 will need quite some time to hit 16...

After I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes  a few years ago, I was waiting for the sequel. What would happen to Lou after Will left? What would her life be? If I am Lou, I will constantly ask myself 'Why am I not enough?' 'Is there anything that I could have done to change his mind?' 'Was it all just me? Just in my mind?' In this sequel, Lou was a wreck! But it's understandable though, she had just lost the love of her life. She has lost someone who had shown her the different aspects of life. Showed her that the life she have had is so unbelievably small. There is so much more to live for. Showed her how she could have made a difference!
