Need some rest

For the past few weekends....life has been hectic......more hectic than my weekdays at work. Feel so tired, today especially. Went to Miri on Saturday with some relatives, my mom and Bi. Overnight at Bi's house. My relatives can really shop man.....its unbelievable!!!!! My legs are so tired from walking around. Not to mention my poor soles as well. I am never gonna wear heels nor wedges while shopping anymore!!!!! Miri is well......Miri as usual.....packed as it can be. The people shopping there mainly consist of a lot of Bruneians. The government should try and so something about this out flow of money. We are bringing our money out of the country, surely this wont benefit our country. Keeping in mind the currency exchange rate and the wider selection that Miri has available, its not a wonder why people from Brunei is flocking to Miri, this is especially true for people in Seria or Kuala Belait since they are closer to Miri (its only about an hour drive at most without the queue...

Spendthrift

I spent Bnd 1,000.00 yesterday. Actually it was B$1,100 but Bi offered to pay B$100.00 No....its not on LV bags nor shoes, nor jewelries......... Its for my Silvia......the tires are so worn out. It was so bad that virtually, there is no tracks on it anymore. It was so smooth. Not even suitable for drifting, not that I know how to. It's expensive I know. But then what other alternatives do I have? At least its worthwhile. I finally found the choice of the tyres that I wanted. The cheapest 225/40 that was available was in Hock Tyres, costing B$ 185.00 per piece. But I was not that keen on it as it was Good year eagle and its made in Vietnam or Indonesia. The European made ones cost about B$ 300++++, so that is out of the question. I made that inquiry over a month ago and when I finally went there yesterday to change it, they had sold out!!!! (Its a blessing in disguise as I don't really trust Indonesia tyres le) Then I found Bridgestone costing about B$ 265.00 per tyre at one sh...

Demotivated

I feel so de-motivated!!!! Sien!!! What I have been doing for the past 4 months have not been acknowledge. Yet someone who is a empty barrel through and through is getting all the credit. Its not a direct hit....more like a subtle hint..... I suppose that he has done it beautifully, let me share with you on the things that he has done. -Only work if the boss is around -Only offer help to your colleagues i f your boss is around -Give really smart comments and only when if the boss is around -Undermine all your other colleagues working on the same team in front of external consultants and your boss -When you cant finish your own job, blame it on your other colleagues, coz you left your own work hanging to help your other colleagues to finish theirs -Take as much time as you want to complete your task so that any additional work will be reassigned to others -Always complain about everything and everyone. Behind their back of coz! -Think that the method of doing something is THE ONLY metho...

Drivers in Brunei

Recently some of my relatives came back from Australia. She told me that she observed that the people in Brunei drives in a crazy manner. I have to agree with her. Not only is their driving skills very dubious, the drivers also tend to become another person when they are be hind the wheels. Here are some personal experience that I have. Drivers who just can't let it go I have come across some people who just can't let it go that you overtook them. They will try by all means to overtake you again, just to show me who is boss. (Plz don't forget that I am driving Nissan Silvia, with 250hp, that can do 100km in about 7.7s) These drivers are sufferring from kiasuness. If they know who you are, then its even worst. They will come to you and say the most ridiculous things. Like you are too close behind me. (Well, excuse me.......the distance between ur car and mine can fit in 2 Kancils, ok la....maybe 1 kancils.....but I'm not that keen on kissing ur butt either) So, people, i...

Fusion

Went to Fusion at The Mall last Saturday. I still have the B$10 voucher that I won on Frankie's morning vibes. So I told Bi to meet me in The Mall. I stupidly forgot to bring my phone (left it on my bed I think). Traffic was really bad (as usual) and I managed to find a parking space about 20 mins later (wow....lucky me...NOT) There were more people there this time. It seems like everytime I went there, its only me and Bi. We sat at our usual table. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the burger. Bi was kinda hungry so he ordered the chicken something (sorry I cant quite remember) My Burger Deluxe.... Bi's chicken something (all messed up before I have a chance to take a picture) I loved the burger deluxe. (I had the same things during Rishi's small b-day lunch gathering. I wonder how are they doing now? I remembered Shiling telling me that she wanna go to Taiwan. Miss u guys!) I loved the sautee mushrooms and onions. Bi loved his chicken something as well. Had a taste of...
