Lee Chong Wei injured!!!!

Lee Chong Wei was injured in a match against Peter Gade in Thomas Cup 2012. Here's a video of the sprain. Looks like a really bad sprain. OUCH!!!!! I hope he can fully recover and train in time for Olympics. Speedy recovery! I remember the last time that I sprained my ankle, it was kinda similar to LCW. But its not as bad and I already took 3 weeks to recover. I started playing badminton after the 2nd week as I was itching to play badminton. But it still hurts so I just took it easy and din run. The pain was excruciating !!!! Some more on some days, my ankle still hurts. So its not really a full recovery. I wish LCW will have a full recovery and be back on the court soon!

Narcissism

Getting a bit narcissistic. But bear with me yeah... A comparison pic of me. Left is the recent photo and the right one was taken Dec last year (I think) when my hair was still brighter.  YAY!!! I can fit into the tee that I bought n years ago! This was taken right after badminton so makeup is non existence.  The day after I received my letter! Something yellow to celebrate the day! All black with my silk scarf from KL  All black for the much needed slimming effect!   A little of brown and leopard spots on my heels.  Too bad you cant see the ruffles in front of the shirt. There you go! My normal work attire. I used to wear cotton button shirts for work but I find that those shirts are boring to the max. So I like to mix and match my work outfits. To feel good, I need to dress well. Did you notice that I have a different pair of heels for every outfit? I just noticed just now. Those heels shown here are not eve...

Happy Mother's Day!

I know this is a bit late but hey better late than never right? My mom has supported me in so many things ever since I was born. Although there are moments where we don't exactly see eye to eye but the bond and love between us will always be there.  Flowers for my beautiful mom  Little gifts of love  My beautiful mom with her lovely bouquet  Mange cake which she insisted on ordering herself

The most important exam of my life

I have been so busy lately with so many different things. A bit of good news to share with everyone. I passed my citizenship exam!!!!!! Got my sukacita letter last Thursday! While almost everyone got their letters within the first 3 days, I had only known my results on Thursday at nearly 5pm as I remember that I was gonna go change my running baju. It was the most tense 4 days of my life. Never ever have I felt this way while waiting for exam results.I think it was partly due to the fact that if it were my Uni exam results or CPA results, we all get to know the results at the same time. We either feel happy (pass) or sad/angry (fail) all at the same time. But as the letter was delivered via the postman to our house, we all got our letters at different time. So hence the tension. I finally belong somewhere, to a country where I have lived almost all my life. A country that is truly home to me.  On another note altogether, there were some people who congratulate me ...

Face condition

I went for facial last 2 weeks and my my facialist told me that my skin is getting clogged. It got me thinking, have I change any of my skincare regiment? The only thing that I changed was my cleansing wipes. Arghhhhh......only cleansing wipes le, that also will affect my face kah? Sigh....who ask me to have such sensitive skin? So after my facial, I told myself that I should stop using foundation. I have been using foundation everyday ever since Mami bought me the HD foundation from Maekup Forever. Before that I was using BB cream almost daily. So after my facial session, I told myself that I should either get better cleansing wipes and not those oily ones or I stop using foundation unless I have any special function. I have also started to use my 3-in-1 Actizen mask daily for 5 mins to cleanse my face as well (recommended by my facialist) I have been using only sunblock and loose powder since Monday. I think I feel an improvement. I love photoshake!

DST 17th Annual Dinner 2012

DST 17th Annual Dinner!!!!!!!!! The theme this year is 'The Wild Wild West'. Initially I wanted to have a red Indian costume when we found out that the theme was wild wild west. But later on, I was pulled to perform line dancing. So I changed my mind to wearing a cowboy outfit. I searched for designs online and came across one that I think would be flattering for me.  My boss recommended me to Vin-Nie which was situated in Batu Bersurat (near Elken). Alice (the lady boss) initially do not want to accept my order as she was quite a lot of orders for Hari Raya! Gosh!!!! I went there at the start of April le. Such good business eh. But luckily I told her that I just found out that I had to perform on stage and I need the costume and that she came highly recommended by my boss. Ahhh...the art of flattery will get anyone anywhere! We discussed on what are the materials that was needed and how the costume should be made. She recommended that the material that I buy must b...
