My Lovely Jimui for my wedding!!!!

Another important part of my wedding was the appointment of my Jimuis. I have a lot of good friends throughout my life and choosing those specials ones are not that hard. They have supported me and given me guidance not only for the wedding but in everyday life as well. Some of my Jimuis are not in daily contact with me but if I ever need any help or favours, they are all just a phone call away. And they know that if they ever need any help from me, I am at their service at any time! As anyone might have guessed what happens when there are more than 2 women in one room! CHAOS!!!!! So I appointed 1 of the ladies to control the other ladies! Hahaha and for her to head and lead the discussions in regards to my wedding. Jimui's dress was another thing that was weighing on my mind. There were a lot of concepts running through my head. Either I go for the same kind of cloth material with different colours or same colour but different design for every dress. Had a hard time i...

Happy Valentine's Day!

A big shout out to all couples on Valentine's Day!!!!! Valentine's Day has evolved to a day where lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting confectioneries, flowers and greeting cards. ( Source ) In short, today is the day where we express our love for our loved ones. Today is also the day where many men's wallets gets on a diet! LOL!!!! Valentine's Day has been too commercialized lately. But which girl doesn't want to receive flowers and chocolates on this special day. However, lets stress that its not only on this day that love should be expressed right? Bi, you can buy me flowers on any 365 days of the year. Everyday also can one de.... I was feeling drowsy due to the cough syrup and did not want to lunch with Bi. So he said it was ok. Later one, he watsapp me and said his bro could not have lunch with him as he was busy. He wanted to come over to my office and have lunch at my canteen asking me whether the canteen here is open or not....

Lost cities of the world

I have always been fascinated by all the myths and mythologies ever since I was young. I like documentaries about the tombs of famous pharaohs, lost cities, mysteries (yeah call me a nerd) Have a read here about how technologies verify certain myths about lost cities. Recalling back to my childhood, I read a lot of books like the Hardy boy s, Nancy Drew and the Three Investigators . They had these 3 in 1 books that were sold in Bismi (a book shop which is also selling stationeries) in my hometown Seria. I wonder whether I still have those books or not. There were fun to read. I still remember that there is a hint of romance between Nancy Drew and one of the Hardy boys. I wanted very much to be an investigator back then. It seem so interesting all the things that they do. Well, I wanted to be a lot of things when I was young. I even wanted to be an archaeologists. Coz I wanted to be the one to discover tombs of important people and study their lives. I am curious about everything. I g...

I miss.......

I just read someone's blog about them graduating from Masters! With all the graduation gowns, certificates, flowers, I missed it. I wanna take Masters too. No, no, what I mean is that I wanna experience that high a 2nd time. Its like the anti climax you know. Like all that hard work for the past 3 years, its all for this day. I found some old photos taken during the graduation. I miss it. I miss Perth. I miss the life there. I miss being a student. Broke but so free all the time. I miss Coles, I miss Perth City, I miss Hungry Jacks, I miss Basking Robbins, I miss the weather, I miss the dimsum buffet, I miss my friends. I am missing a lot of things right now.

Randomness

I suddenly thought of something just now. Its something from my memories. Its just a memory but it shows that we all have come a long way and my my my, did we all change. I recalled that me and one of my good childhood friend followed my mom to a new opening of a boutique in KB. I saw a really pretty necklace and thought that the price is B$ 6.90 and remembered that I thought that it was a reasonable price. But the actual price was B$ 16.90. Back then B$16.90 seems a lot of money and I actually felt guilty that my mom actually bought it for me. How times have change. I also recall that back in my first year in uni, Bi was the only who had a car albeit the car was a bit old but it is a car nonetheless. His car was a really old Honda. It only has a radio which is kinda sucky as most of the time it can only receive static (we used to joke that it can receive a station call static channel) Not only that, the air conditioning is more like hot con rather than air con coz it blows hot air. ha...

Mixed feelings

Some people are too free. Too much time on hand! They should be more constructive with their lives. Oh well, its their lives and I am not getting involved with that. Too much hassle. Anyway, I was feeling much better today and then suddenly, dunno who so beng song me, wanna make me all upset again. Sigh! Aiyah, just think happy thoughts. Happy thoughts Happy thoughts Happy thoughts One of these days, I'll feel ready to talk about what happened in detail. One of these days, I'll talk about it without wincing. One of these days....... I'm going off to dreamland to find my happiness.
