Just started following a different lifestyle this Monday. (Whoa!!! Has it only been 4 days?) A low carb, low fat, high protein and high fibre diet. I cut out rice, noodles, kueh tiaw, meehoon, tang hoon, lau shu fun, bread, biscuits, keropok, chocolates and most importantly, no more sweet drinks even 100+ or even Pocari or Revive. It's not very very very hard but I do get cravings for carbs sometimes. The trick is to keep yourself full so you wont feel hungry at any point in time. So you wont be tempted to take those simple carbs. Even fruits you have to be careful as they have high sugar content. Fruits like mangoes, bananas, apples, oranges, watermelon, durians, etc should be taken in moderation. A great idea for a healthy breakfast is muesli!
