Happy Valentine's Day!

A big shout out to all couples on Valentine's Day!!!!! Valentine's Day has evolved to a day where lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting confectioneries, flowers and greeting cards. ( Source ) In short, today is the day where we express our love for our loved ones. Today is also the day where many men's wallets gets on a diet! LOL!!!! Valentine's Day has been too commercialized lately. But which girl doesn't want to receive flowers and chocolates on this special day. However, lets stress that its not only on this day that love should be expressed right? Bi, you can buy me flowers on any 365 days of the year. Everyday also can one de.... I was feeling drowsy due to the cough syrup and did not want to lunch with Bi. So he said it was ok. Later one, he watsapp me and said his bro could not have lunch with him as he was busy. He wanted to come over to my office and have lunch at my canteen asking me whether the canteen here is open or not....

Energy Day

Today is the nation's Energy Day, which aims to increase public's awareness of the importance of conserving energy. In conjunction with that, my company decided to 1. Switch off all unnecessary lights and instead open all the blinds (natural sunlight) 2. Switching off the water heater 3. Switching of one unit of the centralized air-conditioning chiller. People living in Brunei are really lucky as the electricity are partly subsidized by the government. The same goes for the prices of petrol. I remember that Bi told me before when he was working in Miri, the price for a full tank is around RM 80++ for a Vios, which is known to be a fuel consumption car.......Gosh ! Can you imagine that? So we are really lucky here. That is why we must try to conserve all the electricity and petrol that we can. Switch off anything that is not in use. A little here and there goes a long way. And try to use pool car if possible to use less petrol. It is easier on the environment as well as your poc...

What is so special about 24th December? Its Christmas Eve. So how did you spend your Christmas Eve? With your loved ones no doubt. Abbi and me went to Charcoal. We were so full!!!!! Oh well, what else is new? hahaha, we ordered Crispy Mushroom and pumpkin soup for starters. For our maincourse, I had the famous spicy plump sauce lamb shank and Bi had the tenderloin. YUMMY!!!!! When we first arrive, the band was quite noisy so we sat in the room. At least we can have a decent conversation. But the downside is that there were no staff walking pass us or anywhere near us for that matter. We were both trying in vain to get their attention as we were starving (mind you it was 9pm plus already since we went to Charcoal after a session of badminton) You know wat Bi did? He called up the reception and told them we need some service at table 34! hahaha. Funny lo. Anyway, I am still very sleepy. So here is Arto and Abbi wishing everyone a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Its the time of the year again.......to empty out our bf's wallet. For myAbbi, its even worse coz its a double celebration. One for Valentine's Day and the other one is my Birthday. My angmoh's birthday falls on 19 Feb. But more often than note, I celebrate my lunar calendar b-day. I dun really have the mood to celebrate my birthday this year since I'm turning 25 years old already. DAMN!!!! I am so old already. It seems like yesterday that I was turning 18 and starting my Uni life in Miri. How did the time pass by so fast? Most of the photos are still in my phone. Really need to get a bluetooth for my pc to enable me to send the photos to my pc. Look at what Bi bought for my birthday. TA DAAA!!!!! The pig (wrist rest.....dunno wat people call it officially....its for resting your hand while using the mouse) and the cute phone holder are not part of the present. Hari Raya Open House

Its that time of the year again where we all are gonna put on weight. hahaha Went to one of my colleague's open house during lunch time on Friday. There was alot of people so I din manage to take any pictures. Bi went with me as well. My company treated us to Empire for the Raya Celebrations on Wednesday. All staff worked half day only. Hehehe......But before we attack the food, we were treated to 2 dance performance and a short (short, tak pulang) sketch. But we were rewarded to a good meal and nice environment and nice company (my colleagues la). The sketch was too lengthy, so many if us escaped. hehe....we pretended to go to the washroom and just stayed outside of the ballroom. Just standing there....chit chatting with each other and making jokes out of everything. Since we were so free, we went around to check out the best table (meaning the table that is near to the buffet tables). This is not an easy task as the buffet are laid out in different tables, there is the starters t...

Went to Bi's boss open house last nite. His house was great, the food and cakes were delicious and not forgetting his colleagues and their families are a delight to be around. They are so funny. Din manage to take pictures. Was feeling tired since I just drove up to Bandar and rushed home to change into my baju kurung.

Selamat Hari Raya

Selamat Hari Raya to all my Muslim friends and colleagues. I want to wish all my friends and colleagues to have a wonderful time. May your blessings be countless. May all enjoy good health and live a wonderful and fulfilling life. When I was driving to my Bi's place last nite (Raya eve), I saw many houses with decorations like fairy lights and the oil lamps. It fills my heart with such warmth. It reminds me of Chinese New Year with my family. So enjoy your holidays and remember that it is important to drive safely at all times and to buckle up always. Bless you all!!!!

Launching of Project 3C

Friday the 13th I wonder why did they choose Friday the 13th to launch Project 3C..... Project 3C is a service excellence program that is intended to change the service culture that DST Group is currently in. The program strives to make it a living culture that all DST Group employees will live up to the standard. To instill in each and every employee of DST Group to have excellent customer skills. We intend to stand out from the rest. Anyway, evidently its a very important program for our company. All 7 of our branches were closed for the afternoon on 13.07.2007 to enable all the frontliners to come to DST HQ to participate in the launching. Even the staff from KB and Temburong were there. When we were on the 12th floor in the morning with the rest of the Secretariat, to check out the work of the Campaign and Promotions, I saw this.... Can see me? Damn I look so fat. Ba, I point out to u la. Hehe. Its me right there in the middle of the photo. Kinda weird when I'm quite new to the...
