Narcissism

Getting a bit narcissistic. But bear with me yeah... A comparison pic of me. Left is the recent photo and the right one was taken Dec last year (I think) when my hair was still brighter.  YAY!!! I can fit into the tee that I bought n years ago! This was taken right after badminton so makeup is non existence.  The day after I received my letter! Something yellow to celebrate the day! All black with my silk scarf from KL  All black for the much needed slimming effect!   A little of brown and leopard spots on my heels.  Too bad you cant see the ruffles in front of the shirt. There you go! My normal work attire. I used to wear cotton button shirts for work but I find that those shirts are boring to the max. So I like to mix and match my work outfits. To feel good, I need to dress well. Did you notice that I have a different pair of heels for every outfit? I just noticed just now. Those heels shown here are not eve...

A little something about my work

Remember my training in Sydney last year? They interviewed me and told me that it would be published on the GRAPA website in March 2012. I had almost forgotten about it till the relationship manager gave me the link to it. Read it here if you are interested. It was really great to sit in a room where you can talk about all the issues that you are facing in the telco industry. Those who are working in the telco industry will tell you that its one of its kind.  From the end to end perspective, which is from the moment subscriber make a call or use their phone to online or to SMS (just plain do anything that has anything to do with your network provider) and all the way to bill collection from subscribers. Its pretty interesting. Alot of things to learn and its really dynamic considering all the frauds that are currently plaguing the telco industry. I love what I do. It challenges me on every level especially since I am not from a technical background.

Lost cities of the world

I have always been fascinated by all the myths and mythologies ever since I was young. I like documentaries about the tombs of famous pharaohs, lost cities, mysteries (yeah call me a nerd) Have a read here about how technologies verify certain myths about lost cities. Recalling back to my childhood, I read a lot of books like the Hardy boy s, Nancy Drew and the Three Investigators . They had these 3 in 1 books that were sold in Bismi (a book shop which is also selling stationeries) in my hometown Seria. I wonder whether I still have those books or not. There were fun to read. I still remember that there is a hint of romance between Nancy Drew and one of the Hardy boys. I wanted very much to be an investigator back then. It seem so interesting all the things that they do. Well, I wanted to be a lot of things when I was young. I even wanted to be an archaeologists. Coz I wanted to be the one to discover tombs of important people and study their lives. I am curious about everything. I g...

Amazed

It is so hard and boring not doing anything. I had like nothing to do for like 3/4 of yesterday. It wasn't my fault le. They are rearranging the partitions (again!). So once again, we had to pack all our things to one side and wait for the people to finish rearranging the partitions. I moved everything by myself as I am the only one in my department. My colleagues did offer to help me but I paiseh to accept their help also coz they also have their own things to move. So I moved everything albeit taking my own sweet time. Hehehehe. By the time I had finish moving everything to one side, I was pretty amazed. Not amazed by the fact that I moved everything myself but rather . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . How did I fit all these Into this little private space of mine..... The picture is the current place that I am sitting. I like that place. Its near to the printer, pantry as well as the photocopy machine and fax machine. The new cubicle that I am moving into is just right at the ...
