After 2 years

Finally after 2 years, I have decided to uplift my AUD FD from SCB and also cancel my plat CC from SCB. Am moving on to a better deal. Feel a bit sad coz I have been a loyal customer of SCB ever since I started work and that was way back in 2005. Hahaha, I know someone is gonna laugh at me and say the bank is earning my money, why should I be sad right?

I'm going after the plat CC from Baiduri. Deposit a minimum of B$5k, you can get a plat CC as well as 5 years fee waiver. The FD can only be uplifted after 5 years with a total of 12% interest (2.4% p.a) I think this is not bad a deal although the interest rate is not as high as the AUD FD but think of the CC charges that you are saving for the whole 5 years are quite high already. I asked the Baiduri staff on the annual fees for a plat CC, its $280 p.a. Multiply by 5 years, you are saving at least $1400 already.

Let's hope that this is the right choice.

Unveiling

I was so excited yesterday. Someone called and told me that it was ready for pick up. What is ready for pick up? What makes me so excited? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What else would make me so excited other than cars? Woo Hoo!!!!! Subaru Impreze STi !!!! How cool is that? Bi fetched me yesterday around 5pm to pick up the car. I could not sit still at home. Was feeling so excited. STi has 3 settings, Intelligence, Sport and Sport Sharp. I read an article online saying that the Intelligence mode makes the STi crawls like a snail. Hmmmm, their exact words not mine. So Bi and me took the car out for a short drive. We were kinda disappointed with the power. It was then we realised that the setting was at intelligence. OMG!!!! When we changed the settings to Sport Sharp, the power is unbelievable. Its like 3 times faster and more powerful. We hit 180 km/h in less than 2 minutes (mite be less if not for those few turtles on the road). In the past S15 will need quite some time to hit 16...

After I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes  a few years ago, I was waiting for the sequel. What would happen to Lou after Will left? What would her life be?
