Amazed

It is so hard and boring not doing anything.

I had like nothing to do for like 3/4 of yesterday.It wasn't my fault le. They are rearranging the partitions (again!). So once again, we had to pack all our things to one side and wait for the people to finish rearranging the partitions.

I moved everything by myself as I am the only one in my department. My colleagues did offer to help me but I paiseh to accept their help also coz they also have their own things to move. So I moved everything albeit taking my own sweet time. Hehehehe.

By the time I had finish moving everything to one side, I was pretty amazed.

Into this little private space of mine.....

The picture is the current place that I am sitting. I like that place. Its near to the printer, pantry as well as the photocopy machine and fax machine. The new cubicle that I am moving into is just right at the back of my current cubicle. I hope that it wont get too hot in the afternoon.

I have like 3 umbrellas at my work place. Very neurotic about getting caught in the rain especially with the unpredictable weather these days.

P.S. I have another 3 more umbrellas in my car.....hahaha

Unveiling

I was so excited yesterday. Someone called and told me that it was ready for pick up. What is ready for pick up? What makes me so excited? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What else would make me so excited other than cars? Woo Hoo!!!!! Subaru Impreze STi !!!! How cool is that? Bi fetched me yesterday around 5pm to pick up the car. I could not sit still at home. Was feeling so excited. STi has 3 settings, Intelligence, Sport and Sport Sharp. I read an article online saying that the Intelligence mode makes the STi crawls like a snail. Hmmmm, their exact words not mine. So Bi and me took the car out for a short drive. We were kinda disappointed with the power. It was then we realised that the setting was at intelligence. OMG!!!! When we changed the settings to Sport Sharp, the power is unbelievable. Its like 3 times faster and more powerful. We hit 180 km/h in less than 2 minutes (mite be less if not for those few turtles on the road). In the past S15 will need quite some time to hit 16...

After I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes  a few years ago, I was waiting for the sequel. What would happen to Lou after Will left? What would her life be? If I am Lou, I will constantly ask myself 'Why am I not enough?' 'Is there anything that I could have done to change his mind?' 'Was it all just me? Just in my mind?' In this sequel, Lou was a wreck! But it's understandable though, she had just lost the love of her life. She has lost someone who had shown her the different aspects of life.
