Bi called me at 11:40am this morning and told me "I have got good news for you.....guess what?" Me: "You suddenly got a lot of money?" (yaya, I am materialistic) Bi: "No, its regarding something that you keep nagging me last night one" Me: "Huh? Coach Bags?" Bi: "Noooo.....guess again, you just told me last night one." Me: *thinking very hard........* "Erm diamond rings?" Bi: "NOOOOOOO, Ipad 2. You just nagged me last night saying that you want one. My bro is queuing at AV there liaw. Finally got my ring back from the Jeweler!!!! Courtesy of Mr Kelvin. Thanks for helping me to collect my ring. See how shiny it was? They plated white gold at the bottom of the ring coz it was turning a bit yellow from constant wear (for nearly 4 years liaw) But sadly, another small diamond has gone missing!!!!!! YIKES! Had a good time with colleagues at DST 16th annual dinner tonite. As usual makeup at De'most saloon with makeup artist Moreen. She has not disappoint me yet. My hair was supposed to be curly but oh well the perils of having fine and too straight of a hair. And this is me with all makeup removed! I just got my big big cert last week from my dearest cooperation CPA. Please refer to me by the correct titles from now on, which is Jennifer Yen CPA (Aust) Muahahaha...... I feel extremely bored right now at this stage of my life. I need something to work towards to. But alas, I wont be able to fulfill my dreams as of now. Hopefully, with fingers crossed, I will be able to start next year.

Some days are good, some days are not so good and then there are those that are down right bad. Today can be categorized as down right bad I guess. No amount of positiveness can bring it up to a not so good day.

Some people are mean and then there are some people who are just plain evil. I think these 2 people are downright evil. Just look at the video . How can anyone do such things to a small defenseless dog? And now they have a new 'victim'. These dogs have a big capacity to love. They have nothing but unconditional love for their owners. Why do these 2 heartless people treat their dogs that way? I cannot finish watching the video. Tears are already forming in my eyes within the first minute. They are dogs, they are meant to walk on four legs. If God had wanted them to stand on their hind legs, he would have given them 2 legs instead. But I guess that the owners are not only lacking their hearts but their brain as well since I don't think that they have any ability to think. I read this story here . Help to sign the petition!!!! By satisfying the requirements of the CPA Program and by holding an award recognised by CPA Australia, we are delighted to inform you that you have advanced to CPA status! HA!!!!! Like finally??! Actually, I just submitted In Dec 2010. The people there were quite efficient. Their website said that it will roughly take around 20 days to process but they got back to me within 2 weeks. We are moving in next Teusday, which is on the 11th. Its been like over a year already. At first I wasn't in the mood already. Like as if all the excitement is over already. (well it's been over a year) But now that the date is creeping around the corner, the excitement and the anxiety is here once again. Just a quick update on the progress. The almost done table, with the shelves nowhere in sight. Sigh! My almost done bay window seats.I am absolutely drooling over when I can just lie there and read. With those glorious natural lighting. One of my childhood dream is finally materializing! Imagine when the weather is rainy, I'll just lie there and look at the rain falling down. Our almost done bed. I am glad that I am no longer a teenager....with all the angst and drama. I wonder how did I ever get over all that. It must be so tiring. Everything seems to be blown out of proportion. I blame all these on those Hollywood movies where romance seem so perfect. Where there is always happily ever after.

Selamat Hari Raya to all my Muslim friends and colleagues. Bi and me were on holiday from Fri till Mon. Just came back to work today but technically it's only half day work coz we attended the raya celebrations thus morning at the sports hall. (hopefully they will take down everything in time for badminton tomolo) feeling so lazy after 4 days of literally doing nothing. Bibineh's hair is looking better liaw. Bibineh is soooooo cute. He is always looking for me. Always running here and there just wanting to be with me. I love bibineh! Went to Miri last Sunday. Such a tiring trip. Dunno whether issit due to me being older or what but I can no longer shop like I used to. In addition, I was wearing flats that day. Gosh! Once I could have worn heels and walk around in them for like the whole day and I dun even feel tired at ALL! I bought 3 baju kurongs from Miri. The price is very reasonable! I wore the blue one to the function today expecting a lot of ppl to wear blue theme kurongs...

Was away last week for the fraud conference in KL. Met alot of people from different telcos and they shared their experiences with fraud. Some frauds were very elaborate and simply mind boggling. While others are pretty straight forward. One bad thing about the conference is that it started on a public holiday!!!! Sigh..... But other than that it was all good. Been quite some time since I last went to KL. I think the previous trip was also an official one. Touched down in KLIA around 6pm and there was a looooonngggggg (for extra emphais) queue at the immigration. And the train is on maintenance. I had to walk a loooonnnggg way just to catch the shuttle bus to the other building. What's worse???? I was in high heels. Blame the bimbo in me. Well at least by the time we were done with immigration, our luggage were already lying around the floor. Fortunately nothin happened to our luggage. With everything done, we were on our way to our hotel. I stayed in Piccolo Hotel. the same hotel ...

Back from the Telco Fraud conference! It was such a tiring trip. I did not bring my camera this time as I find it very heavy.....hehe.....I'm just plain lazy. One of my best buy from KL is the cherry blush tint from Shu uemura. I seldom use any blush as my cheeks are almost always flushed. And when the saleslady introduced this to me, I was somewhat doubtful of this. Coz she swabbed too must onto my hand making it quite.....errr, flushed. But when I used it the next morning, I applied it sparingly. The results are wonderful. It gave me the healthy natural pinkish glow that a lot of people wanted to achieve (but failed miserably coz its either too light or too dark) Its not oily at all as well. I applied it after my sunblock and then apply a light layer of loose powder (also from Shu eumura). The result? A natural glow! Even my guy friend commented on my healthy glow! By the way, its a huge compliment coming from him especially him as he is kinda clueless on that kind of thing. I h...

Ever since I was a little girl, which frankly is n-number of years ago, I had always wanted a window seat. Imagine a place to call my own. A place where you can read with just the right amount of natural light. A place where no one can intrude. A little slice of my own paradise, to do whatever I wanna do. There are many designs to choose from. I like this purplish design. I think this colour scheme will go nicely along with the gray and beige of the current theme. But I don't think that the drawers are practical as you cant store many things in the small compartments. This is so sweet and simple. White and red plus some floral. The lace also goes nicely along with the bay window. My curtains are somewhat very simple. Just cream and gray roman blinds. I cant remember how the lace looks like though (the curtains were ready over a year ago!) The organza at the window gives it a very soft and dreamy kinda feeling. Finally after 2 years, I have decided to uplift my AUD FD from SCB and also cancel my plat CC from SCB. Am moving on to a better deal. Feel a bit sad coz I have been a loyal customer of SCB ever since I started work and that was way back in 2005. Hahaha, I know someone is gonna laugh at me and say the bank is earning my money, why should I be sad right? I'm going after the plat CC from Baiduri. Deposit a minimum of B$5k, you can get a plat CC as well as 5 years fee waiver. The FD can only be uplifted after 5 years with a total of 12% interest (2.4% p.a) I think this is not bad a deal although the interest rate is not as high as the AUD FD but think of the CC charges that you are saving for the whole 5 years are quite high already. I asked the Baiduri staff on the annual fees for a plat CC, its $280 p.a. Multiply by 5 years, you are saving at least $1400 already. Let's hope that this is the right choice.
