Was away last week for the fraud conference in KL. Met alot of people from different telcos and they shared their experiences with fraud. Some frauds were very elaborate and simply mind boggling. While others are pretty straight forward.
One bad thing about the conference is that it started on a public holiday!!!! Sigh..... But other than that it was all good.
Been quite some time since I last went to KL. I think the previous trip was also an official one.
Touched down in KLIA around 6pm and there was a looooonngggggg (for extra emphais) queue at the immigration. And the train is on maintenance. I had to walk a loooonnnggg way just to catch the shuttle bus to the other building. What's worse???? I was in high heels. Blame the bimbo in me.
Well at least by the time we were done with immigration, our luggage were already lying around the floor. Fortunately nothin happened to our luggage. With everything done, we were on our way to our hotel. I stayed in Piccolo Hotel. the same hotel that I stated in in 2008.
Arrived at the hotel around 7pm plus. Informed TL that I would take a quick shower and then we can go for dinner as I was famished. But...... Before showering I just had to take some pics.

Loves the light behind the bed. The room is just I remembered.

That was the wash basin with the shower and toilet behind. Prolly not a good idea if you are planning to stay here with friends. Haha.

Kick ass full length mirror for the wardrobe. Luckily for Bi's new house I had designed a full length mirror for one of the sliding wardrobe doors. Smart le me??? Actually I got the idea from this hotel one la.
When TL came over, we went hunting for food. It was good meeting TL again. Bi was very worried about mr being alone and everything. He (TL not Bi) brought me to somewhere near Jalan Alor (famous for hawker food, for which TL added tourist trap)
Had a tough time choosing the food that we want. I really wanted to try the Portuguese plate throwing roast pig something something. But it's only the 2 of us. So we decided on Indian food. I love all the restaurants in KL. So swanky!
Ordered a cocktail. It's was yummilicious!!!!!! While TL ordered his hoegarden. (I can't stand beers!!!! It's so bitter!)
Here's me looking very pleased with my cocktail.

Please blame the photographer for this dark and blurry photo and not my iPhone.

A pic of my blue cocktail. I know it looked green but it's blue. Dun trust TL who argued that my drink is green. Even the name is blue something something one. How can be green le?
Here is TL the man himself.

I think I took a better photo of him than he of me.
The indian food is a bit different than the ones in Brunei. The fish was GOOD!!!! Chicken was quite good. But the aloo gobi is very very different from the one in Le Taj.
I felt that the things are really very very expensive in KL these days. All the items that I like were like rm 300 onwards. Gosh! How to buy like that? So I bought alot of shoes!
This is just 1 pair.

Tell me that u dun think that it's absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!! It's 5 inches by the way. Yeah am getting old, my feet do ache now. But what is the pain compare to such gorgeous shoes?
Mr Lun was very nice. No wait he was extremely nice for my entire trip. He practically paid for each and every meal (cept for breakfast n lunch since this is provided by the organizer of the conference) He also paid for the movie tickets (watched warrior's way and due date, yeah KL is boring when u have to work the next day) But he reminded me that I had to do the same for him when and if he comes to Brunei. No problem at all Lun!!! (since its gonna be n years when he comes back for a visit)
I also bought a tint blush from Shueumura and a gel liner from Bobbi Brown. I love the tint blush!!!! It like my current love as of now. And the gel liner is really as good as those peeps recommended. It stayed on for the whole day! Even after I played badminton.

The brush from Bobbi Brown is soooo good!!!! For a noob like me.
While browsing through the bookstore ( I think it's call the Times or something like that) I saw this book!!!!

Hmpf! We are not allowed to remove the exam papers from the examination hall. I guess that they wanna further earn our money!
Here's Lun with his eyes wide open. I think he looks rather good under my guidance to taking a good picture. Haha!!!

Before we went to the bookstore, we were sitting across the store eating Baskin Robbins!!!!! With waffles some more. Ahhhhh it's sin food I tell you.

World class chocolate and pistachio.

Testing out the tint blush and the gel liner! Hehe. The blush gives a really very natural glow to your skin. Even Lun complimented me that my skin is a lot better than the girls he sees in KL. Muahahaha.

The gift for Bi! Which I had to lugged around Pavillion and hand carry it some more since it won't fit into my luggage. Opps sorry, which Lun carried around Pavillion. Coz I was acting like my shopping was really heavy and everything. (not really an act anyway. It was heavy but nothing that I couldn't manage) Dun tell Lun this though. Hehe.
I din take a lot of photos coz I was too lazy to bring my camera. So all pics were taken by iPhone.
That being said Lun's phone broke while I was there. (I swear that it has nothing to do with me whatsoever!) so he is getting an iPhone! iPhone 4 that is. Bit it was out of stock from Digi center, I think he has to wait for a few days. Kesian.....
Anyway, that's all I think. This post has been sitting as draft for quite some time. So just wanna get it posted.
An end to my official KL trip!
Thanks Lun for ur much appreciated hospitality!
