For those who are close to me, they would know that I love cooking. Not so passionate about baking and whats not, but I really love to cook. Sometimes when a certain recipe for something comes to my head, it will be stuck in my head and will not go away until I actually tried out the recipe.   It does help that my parents are great cooks as well. That pretty much explains my body size. LOL!   But while I am cooking I'm pretty lazy to take pics throughout the process, you know messy hands and stuff so normally I will only take a picture of the end result. I think Bi has more photos of the food that I cooked than I have coz after whipping out a delicious meal, all that I want is to sit down to enjoy it and not taking photos of it.   Just to share a few delicious pics of some of the food that I had personally prepared. It's been nearly 10 months since our wedding reception and yeah I haven't blog about my traditional wedding ceremony nor my wedding reception.   Getting married the traditional Chinese way is no small matter. There is so much to prepare (and not to mention the spending) just for this 1 day. With that being said, well, its a BIG day in our lives as well.   I refrain from blogging about my wedding preparations while the preparations are still on going because I was worried that I might jinx it (call me Miss Superstitious). And in the months that follows, I was just so buys with everything that I haven't found the right time (nor mood) to sit down and blog about it.   I promise myself that I will blog about my traditional Chinese wedding soon!

How often do you use facial mask at home? I used facial mask every night when I first came back from Gold Coast with my sun burn. It improved my skin condition a lot and calmed my sensitive skin. (Redness alert!!!)  Since I had nothing better to do the other night after my Steps aerobics class, I used my Actizen 3 in 1 mask. 3 in 1 means Whitening, Hydrating and Soothing. I love this mask!  This was before the mask.     This was after!     As you can from the before and after photos, my skin has calmed down quite a bit and the redness has reduced. I am usually very lazy and will only do mask when my skin is irritated or when my skin is problematic. This is the Actizen mask that I have been using and treat as treasure! This is way overdue. Went back to Seria to celebrate Mooncake festival earlier on a Saturday night. Had a very big feast at home! Home cooked food is still the best! Simple Home Cooked yummies Brocolli with Abalone Steam Fresh fish caught by my father Plum sauce duck Sweet Sour Pork Spring Rolls Grilled Chix Wings Fish Maw with mushroom and egg clear broth Bibineh was not left out. He had 2 whole chickien wings! All in all, it was a very satisfying meal...yums! Happy belated mooncake festival!

So previously I wrote something about S, which you can view it here . I felt really uneasy about the confrontation. So after a few days I whatsapp S again and state very clearly my reasons why I am upset. And this time S told me that she does have a 4 figure savings and that since she feels that its none of my business decides to lie to me about borrowing the money from her mom to buy the phone. Hmmmm, what does that says about S's personality? That she likes to lie? I dunno.....honestly I dunno, I just felt that I had been used.  So another friend who read my blogs messaged me and told me not to feel upset anymore as this is not actions of a friend anyway.  Therefore, from here on I will not (will try my hardest) not to bother about S anymore. What S does is her life and not mine. I shall stay away from such negativity.

I feel very disgusted. Extremely so.  You see I had (yes past tense) a good friend, someone whom I had known since young. Lets call the person S. S borrowed money from me a couple of years ago. S was in a horrible financial mess. S's was gonna be repossessed by the bank and needed some cash to tie her over. So yeah I landed her a little bit of money and till this day I have never asked for the money back as S always claimed she is still in a financial mess but its getting better. S claimed that she will pay me back as soon as possible. I was fine with that as its not as if I needed that money badly. But whenever I open my IG or FB, I would see her enjoying a night out. Eating at places where I will only go once in a while. In addition to that, S also went for an overseas holiday. Not once but twice or issit more than that? (Cant rem) Albeit it was to some country nearby but still an overseas trip would involve some money right? Not only that I see S driving a new car a...

Another important part of my wedding was the appointment of my Jimuis. I have a lot of good friends throughout my life and choosing those specials ones are not that hard. They have supported me and given me guidance not only for the wedding but in everyday life as well. Some of my Jimuis are not in daily contact with me but if I ever need any help or favours, they are all just a phone call away. And they know that if they ever need any help from me, I am at their service at any time! As anyone might have guessed what happens when there are more than 2 women in one room! CHAOS!!!!! So I appointed 1 of the ladies to control the other ladies! Hahaha and for her to head and lead the discussions in regards to my wedding. Jimui's dress was another thing that was weighing on my mind. I'm sure you all have heard of Miu Miu? A sister company of Prada. Bi promised to buy a bag as a present for me. I wanted one of the Prada initially but Bi said that it looks so old....zzzzzzzzz and he say it doesn't suit me at all.  Then when I was surfing the miu miu website , I came across a bag which I fell in love with immediately!!!!! Take a look at this and tell me who is not in love?????? Thanks Bi for the lovely gift! Actually I was expecting it to be more pink and less dirty pink. If you know what I mean? The leather is just so soft and the smell.....gosh the smell.....the leather smell has me all addicted! Bi asked his colleague who went to UK and Europe to help to purchase. After 3 weeks of intense waiting , I finally got hold of it!!!!!

I actually budgeted about BND500 for my wedding cake. No way I will go for those classic cake design with all those icing and stuff! I went to my best friend for ideas! Who else but Google? LOL! I narrowed it down to a few designs. Cake No.1  Cake No. 2 Cake No. 3 Cake No. 4 Cake No. 5 Cake No. 6 Cake No. 7 Cake No. 8 Cake No. 9 I actually thought of going for Cake No. 9 design but in the end, I feel its too simple and plain. In the end, I decided to go for Cake No. 5 and Cake No. 8 design. I know someone will know the significance of butterflies!  Luckily for my wedding planner Grace again! I'm lucky to have her. She told me not to waste the money and just show OGH (Orchid Garden Hotel) my cake design and they can actually do it for me at $0.00. So I approached Azmin again and inquired about this.
