Borders closing down?

I know that its a bit late on this news but I just got around to talking about this.

I love Borders! Everytime I am in Singapore or anywhere else for all that matters, I'll always visit Borders coz it will always have the book that I want. Any book at all. Its really such a pity that their business models are not doing so well.

Does anyone here loves to read books? I mean traditional books that you can hold in your hand and turn the page physically. I simply cant get use to reading ebooks on my Samsung Note nor my Ipad 2. Its just not the right feeling.

I will always enjoy the feeling of anticipation when I bought the book that I had been waiting for and the feeling of not wanting to put down my book for any reasons at all (meal times or toilet breaks) I can still remember the first that I started getting hooked on Harry potter series. It was during my first uni semester break. Ahhh that was such a long long time ago.

Reading books is and will remain my favourite past time. Yeah that and sleeping!

Unveiling

I was so excited yesterday. Someone called and told me that it was ready for pick up. What is ready for pick up? What makes me so excited? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What else would make me so excited other than cars? Woo Hoo!!!!! Subaru Impreze STi !!!! How cool is that? Bi fetched me yesterday around 5pm to pick up the car. I could not sit still at home. Was feeling so excited. STi has 3 settings, Intelligence, Sport and Sport Sharp. I read an article online saying that the Intelligence mode makes the STi crawls like a snail. Hmmmm, their exact words not mine. So Bi and me took the car out for a short drive. We were kinda disappointed with the power. It was then we realised that the setting was at intelligence. OMG!!!! When we changed the settings to Sport Sharp, the power is unbelievable. Its like 3 times faster and more powerful. We hit 180 km/h in less than 2 minutes (mite be less if not for those few turtles on the road). In the past S15 will need quite some time to hit 16...

After I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes a few years ago, I was waiting for the sequel. What would happen to Lou after Will left? What would her life be? If I am Lou, I will constantly ask myself 'Why am I not enough?' 'Is there anything that I could have done to change his mind?' 'Was it all just me? Just in my mind?' In this sequel, Lou was a wreck! But it's understandable though, she had just lost the love of her life. She has lost someone who had shown her the different aspects of life. Showed her that the life she have had is so unbelievably small. There is so much more to live for. Showed her how she could have made a difference!
