Henna

Was in Toppy Saloon last Sunday coz Bi wanted to cut his hair. Was just sitting there giving my comments to Bi regarding his hair.

Then I saw a newspaper clipping. Toppy Saloon does Henna......Great! I'm gonna try it out. The drawing of the design is quite fast. Barely 15 minutes. Its the drying part that is the tough part. I have to ensure that it is completely dry before I can wash my hand and make sure that it doesn't smudge. HAI!!!! Tougher than doing manicures.

Cost me B$8.00 la..... Think that its not worth it. In Bandar, you can get a mush more complicated design that covers the whole of the hand for only B$15. In addition, I think that they mixed the herbs themselves so the design is more lasting.

The one I had is almost gone already. Its so faint. I rather do manicure next time if its not gonna last me more than a week. Manicure + nail arts only B$10.00

Unveiling

I was so excited yesterday. Someone called and told me that it was ready for pick up. What is ready for pick up? What makes me so excited? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What else would make me so excited other than cars? Woo Hoo!!!!! Subaru Impreze STi !!!! How cool is that? Bi fetched me yesterday around 5pm to pick up the car. I could not sit still at home. Was feeling so excited. STi has 3 settings, Intelligence, Sport and Sport Sharp. I read an article online saying that the Intelligence mode makes the STi crawls like a snail. Hmmmm, their exact words not mine. So Bi and me took the car out for a short drive. We were kinda disappointed with the power. It was then we realised that the setting was at intelligence. OMG!!!! When we changed the settings to Sport Sharp, the power is unbelievable. Its like 3 times faster and more powerful. We hit 180 km/h in less than 2 minutes (mite be less if not for those few turtles on the road). In the past S15 will need quite some time to hit 16...

After I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes  a few years ago, I was waiting for the sequel. What would happen to Lou after Will left? What would her life be? If I am Lou, I will constantly ask myself 'Why am I not enough?' 'Is there anything that I could have done to change his mind?' 'Was it all just me? Just in my mind?' In this sequel, Lou was a wreck!
