Brunei Darussalam Accreditation Council
This is where you have to bring your degree cert to be accredited by the Ministry of Education.
I have to fill in 2 different types of forms. One form is in a letter format requesting the Council to accredit my degree. The other form is just what a normal form is like (requesting for more information and details)
Then there is a list of documents that I have to attach with the application form.
1. Certificates (e.g. bachelor degree) together with transcripts
2. Result: GCE 'O'/'A' Level/OND/ HND ect (including Foundation course results and reports if applicable)
3. Letter of Offer
4. Other documents if possible
Ok. I have to prepare the above list of documents.
1. Check. My degree cert - Bachelor of Commerce Double Major in Accounting and Finance and my transcripts.
2. Check. My 'O' Levels and Foundation cert and results.
3. Letter of Offer??????
Wo...wait a minute......I finished my Uni like 2 years ++ back.....and my degree course is for 3 years....that makes it a total of more than 5 years......where am I gonna find this Letter of Offer????
The dept informed me that if I do not have the Letter of Offer, at least get some sort of reference letter from the Uni that I had been studying there for my degree......Hello???? I thought that my result transcripts and degree would have satisfied them about me studying in Curtin rite?????
But then who am I to argue with them? So I came back empty handed. Then I e-mailed my ex-uni that I needed such a letter from them. Since its kinda urgent, I requested them to fax me a copy of the letter before sending it to me by mail.
4. Other documents? I dunno wat are those. But to make my case stronger. I went back to my beloved CBS, Curtin Business School (www.cbs.curtin.edu.au) to do some research.
Do you know that CBS is the largest teaching division of Curtin University of Technology and one of the most extensive business teaching facilities in Australia. There are over 15k students in the seven courses teaching schools at CBS.

Sigh. I hope that I will have more luck this time round and actually get something done.
P.S. - Previously I did not know the location of MOE so I asked Bi's colleague. So he gave me the directions and he also told me that the building is BLUE is colour. Wa lau.......I keep driving around the vicinity of the location that he told me and I just cant find any blue colour building that is called MOE......in the end.....I saw MOE at the end of the road......ITS BROWN IN COLOUR LE!!!!!!
