Customer Service

I actually wrote a really long post about this stupid staff from HSBC bank. To make a long story short.....the girl (I'll refrain from mentioning her name) called me up to inform me that a online credit card transaction had been just approved after it had been floating for about a week!!!!! okayyyy.... ok ok, here i go again.

Anyway the main thing is that she was: -
  1. rude to me
  2. talked in a patronizing way
  3. gave me the wrong information
  4. she wanna argue with me lagi

I was extremely busy yesterday so I did not have the chance to complain about her yesterday so today I took the time (during lunch time) to call the main branch and obtain the proper person to contact if I want to complain about their personnel.

I am satisfied that my complaints did not fall on deaf ears. The person in charge promised that a formal letter will be sent to me after investigations had been performed at their side.

Its not that I want to complain for the sake of complaining (its tiring le......cerita the whole story to one staff and then another staff will call for verification). Its the principle of the whole matter and people in Brunei should realize that customer service is becoming increasingly important. There is little monopoly in any industry these days, so what makes a customer become a life long customer? Its excellent customer service.

Another example of bad customer service (3 bad customer service in 1 day le) was when I was shopping in The Mall. Bi wanted to buy some ps2 games and so as not to waste time, I went to test the game (to see whether playable o not, pirated ba). The staff actually made noises with her nose le......wa....so rude le. Common la, your shop is not the only shop in Brunei that sells ps2 games, I can easily take my money elsewhere.

Another important aspect to remember is that employer play an important role as well. They should take the initiative to brief or even better send ur employees for customer service training. The benefits from excellent customer service is endless.

I was so riled up by that girl and with my workload....I was really annoyed and not to mention that its Dragon festival....I should be happy le. For the whole day I was in a foul mood. Imagine the effect one stupid girl has on me.

But on my way home, I saw this......

It certainly cheered me up.

Unveiling

I was so excited yesterday. Someone called and told me that it was ready for pick up. What is ready for pick up? What makes me so excited? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What else would make me so excited other than cars? Woo Hoo!!!!! Subaru Impreze STi !!!! How cool is that? Bi fetched me yesterday around 5pm to pick up the car. I could not sit still at home. Was feeling so excited. STi has 3 settings, Intelligence, Sport and Sport Sharp. I read an article online saying that the Intelligence mode makes the STi crawls like a snail. Hmmmm, their exact words not mine. So Bi and me took the car out for a short drive. We were kinda disappointed with the power. It was then we realised that the setting was at intelligence. OMG!!!! When we changed the settings to Sport Sharp, the power is unbelievable. Its like 3 times faster and more powerful. We hit 180 km/h in less than 2 minutes (mite be less if not for those few turtles on the road). In the past S15 will need quite some time to hit 16...

After I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes  a few years ago, I was waiting for the sequel. What would happen to Lou after Will left? What would her life be? If I am Lou, I will constantly ask myself 'Why am I not enough?' 'Is there anything that I could have done to change his mind?' 'Was it all just me? Just in my mind?' In this sequel, Lou was a wreck! But it's understandable though, she had just lost the love of her life. She has lost someone who had shown her the different aspects of life.
