I was away during the 1st week of June for Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management Seminar in KL. The seminar itself was not too bad. But during the seminar, I kinda have information overload. Too much information liaw.
This is the first time that I stayed in a hotel alone. Its a king size bed and gosh, the bed feels so big with me sleeping alone in it.
This is of Grand Millennium Hotel, which I stayed for 2 nights.

Not bad la this hotel. I think its arnd RM400+ per night (luckily its paid for by the company). But I have one complaint though, I think the hotel overall looks very dark....Like not enough sunlight like that. I think it has something to do with the colour scheme. Its all made out some kind of dark colour wood. I think that its suppose to give it a regal look but for me its too depressing.
The breakfast buffet was also so so only. Although there is one kind of bread with loads of seeds in it which is very delicious. Selection is quite ok, just that the taste is kinda very the so so lo.
Couldn't really sleep the first night. The whole place is so totally foreign to me.
I met up with TL the next night. I really have to hand it to TL. In order to meet me, he has to travel around 1 hr plus to reach Bukit Bintang area. I think the journey involves bus and train. (This fact was relayed to me through another friend who is from Miri but I met up with him in KL as well) So TL, thanks for meeting up with me and also for the delicious steak at 'The Ship'. I actually wanna treat him one as I missed his birthday, but then he is so kind that he say he wanna treat me, I wont say no to a free meal lo (yeala, I'm cheapskate ma, wanna save all the money that I can on shopping ma)
Then the next night, I once again met up with TL (see, so semangat, travelled to meet me lagi) and LW. LW introduced me to a German restaurant. The pork knuckles are delicious (although it took like 40 mintues for it to be done) LW also ordered a liver pate, yeah, te kua (in hokkien), pork liver paste to go with some kind of farmer's bread. Gosh, it was a pleasant surprise! It was delicious! It was LW's treat this time. Thanks LW.
keke, because of the time taken to prepare the pork knuckles, I was almost late in meeting up with my boss's boss in transfering to another hotel. One world hotel! TL was kind enough to remind me that if I am ever in KL again, we should meet up. (I wont forget....hehe, free meals wo)
So the journey begins to One world hotel. I really hate the jams in KL. Its so annoying. It takes like forever to reach ur destination.

The flat screen TV, with very the cianggeh system. Why I said cianggeh?
Coz ho, its hooked up with a system that enables you to do purchases, all from the comfort of your bed.
You can purchase the latest movies, games and even room service. No need to use the phone le. (sakai ba me) You can read the latest headlines from all over the world as well (this is for free)
The final day in KL, I was shopping the whole day in 1 Utama with LW. hahaha. (supposedly its a working day) That's our reason actually, why we change hotel on the last night. One world hotel is connected to 1 Utama. Shopping paradise!!!!
