How I spent B$500 in less than half an hour

Last Saturday was a normal Saturday.....or so I thought.

There was that errand that I had to do.....thats what I keep telling myself.....weeks ago.....so I pulled myself out of my extremely comfy bed to get ready to run that errand.

Between 11:30 and 12:00, I spent B$500.00. Lihai le? I never would have thought that I have the potential to do that.

OMG!!!!! Do you know when I last changed my 4 tyres? It was end of December 2007. About 6 months ago....GASP!!!! I spend like 1k on 4 tyres and chamber can????

The errand that I was talking about was to rotate my tyres. I have been putting it off for a couple of weeks now......SIEN!!!!! I can sense that my S15 was not as stable as before and I know that the tyres threads are getting thin and as my car is rear wheel, I know that it will utilise a lot of the rear tyres tracks.

I was so shocked when the boss told me that the tyres are nearly gone (no wonder when driving 60km on wet road will also skid la) Common, I know that tyres threads will run bare....but in 6 months???? I am not a monster devouring tyres le. But I have to admit I do travel down to Seria quite a bit. Still be reasonable le....6 months le!!!!! The boss gave me loads of reasons....18 inch tyres have thinner threads (dunno how true). That I accelerate too much (common 240 horsepower le.....what am I suppose to do? Drive at 40km?)

I have no choice (since my life is so valuable....what would my Bi do without me? haha....thick skin) but to change the tyres.....

Potenza G3 no more.....its Potenza Adrenalin RE001......Cool! (but not so cool on my purse)

Anyway....I am constantly reminding myself not to accelerate too much....can save petrol and my tyres......hahaha....

Unveiling

I was so excited yesterday. Someone called and told me that it was ready for pick up. What is ready for pick up? What makes me so excited? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What else would make me so excited other than cars? Woo Hoo!!!!! Subaru Impreze STi !!!! How cool is that? Bi fetched me yesterday around 5pm to pick up the car. I could not sit still at home. Was feeling so excited. STi has 3 settings, Intelligence, Sport and Sport Sharp. I read an article online saying that the Intelligence mode makes the STi crawls like a snail. Hmmmm, their exact words not mine. So Bi and me took the car out for a short drive. We were kinda disappointed with the power. It was then we realised that the setting was at intelligence. OMG!!!! When we changed the settings to Sport Sharp, the power is unbelievable. Its like 3 times faster and more powerful. We hit 180 km/h in less than 2 minutes (mite be less if not for those few turtles on the road). In the past S15 will need quite some time to hit 16...

After I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes  a few years ago, I was waiting for the sequel. What would happen to Lou after Will left? What would her life be? If I am Lou, I will constantly ask myself 'Why am I not enough?' 'Is there anything that I could have done to change his mind?' 'Was it all just me? Just in my mind?' In this sequel, Lou was a wreck!
