I have over 800 new mails in my gmail account.
So I decided that enough and enough, I have to clean it up.
Most the unread mails were spam mails, newsletter, blah blah blah. Nothing that I would even open.
Came across e-mails dated way back....back in 2006.
Here's a list of e-mails that I think is interesting.
E-mail from a guy (I dunno him at all) asking me for one of the unit that I took back in Uni. I took that paper way back in 2004 and in 2006, he e-mailed me asking me for the question papers??? So that he might do well as written by him. Geesh!!!! There are controls over this type of things you know. They will not allow students to remove the question paper from the examination hall (even if the answers were written in a separate sheet)
My friends resume. Hehe, I still have a copy of your resume wo. Minus all those experience that you have gained in the recent years that is.
Another friend asking me for advice regarding Accounting System (walau, I even remember the unit name. haha)
Tons of e-mail from scammers. Saying how they came across large sums of money and they need foreigners to stake a claim on it (pretending to be the dead person's relative) They will offer you an attractive package of maybe 10 % to 20% of the total amount (the amount can reach up to US 100 million) Please remember that there are no free lunch in this world. I know that some people who had been cheated out of their money. The scam goes like this. They will want to know everything about you and also boot lick you by saying things like how they only trust you la, blah blah blah. Then before they can transfer the money to you, you have to TT a certain amount to them first (to cover for the legal expenses coz all their money are tied up) So you send them that money and *POOF*....they disappear off the face of the earth. So don't get cheated!
Tons of forwarding mails.....some are quite entertaining. Where are u RC? How come din forward me anymore interesting mails to read anymore?????
Birthday wishes from my friends. I haven deleted those. Thank you all.....have I said this before to them??? Oh well....better late than never rite?
I also have another mail.....that I was head hunted (meaning that there are certain companies that wants me to work for them) But then the thing is that I have never submitted my resume to them so I believed that it is a scam as well and din reply.
So there, after a painstakingly 2 hours......I have cleared up those useless mails and leave those meaningful(?) e-mails only. hehe
